Delivery is going well across the country as we ensure the safety of our employees and the communities they serve.
We are experiencing some delays in some of our processing plants for parcels and we wanted you to be aware. Moncton, Montreal and Vancouver are currently experiencing up to 2 days delay. Toronto (Gateway) is currently experiencing up to 4 days delay. These are due to some temporary employee absences, higher volumes and our need to ensure that our employees are working safely by respecting physical distancing measures. We expect to make progress on the delays over the upcoming weekend.
Processing of larger/heavier items continues to take more time to ensure our employees are practicing physical distancing. Customers can assist by ensuring that loads are full before being pulled from their facilities, as this will minimize the number of trailers that need to be handled and help reduce delays. We will provide another update following the weekend. We thank you for your patience.
